Terms of Use
Last updated: August 21, 2026
These terms cover the use of this website and what a quote request does and does not commit you to. They are deliberately short. Nothing here is meant to take away a promise we make elsewhere on this site.
The short version
Using this site is free and commits you to nothing. Asking for a quote is not signing up for anything. The prices shown here are honest starting points, not binding quotes — your real number comes after we see your pool. You can cancel service at any time, exactly as we say on the homepage.
Who we are
This website is operated by A1 Pool Service, an independent pool maintenance and repair business serving Marin County and nearby communities. "We," "us," and "our" mean A1 Pool Service. "You" means anyone using this site.
Using this site
You are welcome to browse, read, and use this site to contact us. Please do not use it to break the law, to attempt to gain access to systems you are not entitled to, to scrape it at a volume that degrades it for other people, or to submit false quote requests on someone else's behalf.
What this site is, and is not
The site describes services we offer and gives real starting prices, which is more than most pool sites do. It is not a binding offer, and it is not a substitute for looking at your actual pool. We keep the information current and accurate to the best of our ability, but we do not guarantee that every detail is free of error or perfectly up to date at every moment.
Prices and estimates
The prices published on this site are starting points and typical ranges, based on standard residential pools. Your actual price depends on pool size, equipment, condition, and access. Specifically:
- Weekly service starts at $195 per month for standard residential pools up to 20,000 gallons, and includes basic chemicals as described on the homepage. Spas, saltwater systems, larger pools, and commercial pools for apartment communities and HOAs are priced after the first visit.
- Repair ranges are estimates. The figures shown for small fixes and for pump or filter replacement describe what work typically costs. They are labor only; parts are billed separately. The real number comes from a diagnosis, which is flat-rate.
- A quote we give you in writing after seeing your pool is the quote. That is the number that binds us, not a range on a web page.
We may change published prices over time. A change to this website does not change the rate of an existing customer without us telling that customer directly, in advance.
Quote requests
Submitting the quote form asks us to get in touch. It does not create a service agreement, does not obligate you to hire us, and does not obligate us to take on the work. We may decline jobs that fall outside our service area, our scope of work, or what we can safely do.
By submitting the form, you confirm the contact details are yours or that you are authorized to give them, and you agree we may contact you by phone, text, or email about your request. You can tell us to stop at any time and we will.
If you become a customer
Ongoing service is governed by what we agree with you directly — the scope, the schedule, and the rate we confirm in writing. Consistent with what we promise on the homepage:
- The first visit is free.
- There is no long-term contract and no lock-in period.
- You can cancel at any time by text or email. We will send a final invoice prorated for the visits completed that month, and your last visit is a normal one.
- Service is billed at a flat monthly rate. A month with five service days costs the same as a month with four, so the fifth visit is free. In exchange, we take two weeks of vacation each year, and those weeks are not credited as missed visits.
We ask that you give us safe access to the pool and equipment on your service day, and let us know about dogs, gate codes, locked equipment, or anything on the property that a person walking in should know about.
Insurance
We carry general liability and workers' compensation coverage, and we will provide a certificate of insurance on request.
Our content
The text, photographs, video, and logo on this site belong to A1 Pool Service. Please do not copy them for use on another pool company's website or marketing. You are welcome to share links to any page here.
Reviews and testimonials
Customer reviews shown on this site are published with the customer's permission and reflect that customer's own experience. Individual results vary with the pool, the equipment, and the situation. A review is one customer's account, not a guarantee of the outcome you will get.
Third-party services
This site relies on a small number of outside services to function, including a form processor, a web host, and a font provider. Those services have their own terms, which govern their part. How they handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimer and limits
This website is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be available without interruption or free of every error. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of this website.
To be clear about what this does not cover: this section is about the website. It does not limit our responsibility for the pool work we actually perform on your property. That work is covered by our insurance and by California law, and nothing on this page reduces the rights those give you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute arising from them belongs in the state or federal courts serving Marin County, California. Before anyone goes near a court, we would much rather you call us and let us fix it.
Changes to these terms
We may update this page. The "last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continuing to use the site after a change means the updated terms apply.
